We are a small group of scientists, engineers, and programmers shifting the paradigm in permanent magnet electric motor design. Our patented, patent-pending, and continuously growing technology allows us to vary the flux flowing from the rotor magnets and change the resistance and ampacity of the stator coils while motor or generator is running, thereby widening the power and efficiency ranges of our electric motors and generators. A small company doing big things, we value each employee's ability to think outside the box and wear many hats.
We are looking for an Power Controls Engineer with Electrical Motor Programming Experience knowledgeable in power electronics, PCB, Electrical motor control and magnetics to join our team. Our ideal candidate would have the following:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree and minimum 5 years of power electronics experience including:
- Programming C & C+
- Knowledge of 3-phase power, AC and DC electric motors, motor controllers, and control of power electronic systems
- PCB design, simulation, and population
- Familiarity with MOSFETs, IGBTs, FPGAs, and I2C
- Building and testing high-power electronic systems
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communications skills with emphasis on team goals and attention to detail
