Job Description: Campbell Technology Advisors (CTA) is a financial technology consulting organization, specializing in Sage Intacct ERP software sales, implementation, and advisory services. Our expertise helps businesses streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and integrate best-in-class add-ons to optimize their operations. CTA is a Sage Intacct Value-Added Reseller (VAR). We are the Consulting and Advisory service line of the broader Campbell & Company, CPAs, and Wealth Advisors brand.
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to drive growth by developing new client relationships, managing existing accounts, and leading the sales process for Sage Intacct and related solutions. The ideal candidate is a motivated, results-driven professional with a background in SAGE INTAACT, B2B SaaS, ERP software, or financial technology sales.
The Business Development Representative is responsible for all activities necessary to achieve or exceed their defined sales goals, including:
Compensation:
Base Annual Salary Range: $50,000 – $80,000
Eligible to Participate in 2025 Commission and Bonus Plan ($150,000+ total OTE)
Sales & Business Development:
Drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and developing new business opportunities within the Sage Intacct ecosystem.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and lead-generation activities.
Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to understand client needs and align solutions with business challenges.
Work closely with internal consultants, implementation teams, and third-party software providers to craft tailored solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary relationship manager for clients and prospects, ensuring long-term engagement and customer satisfaction.
Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews to assess software impact and uncover expansion opportunities.
Act as a trusted advisor by staying up to date on industry trends, ERP best practices, and financial technology advancements.
Collaborate with our Marketing Team to accelerate the go-to-market strategy.
Sales Operations & CRM Management:
Utilize Salesforce and Pardot to track and manage sales activities, nurture leads, and optimize the customer journey.
Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify, research, and connect with key decision-makers within target industries.
Maintain accurate records of pipeline development, account interactions, and sales forecasting in Salesforce.
Automate and personalize prospect engagement using Pardot email campaigns, lead scoring, and workflows.
Leverage Apollo.io for Prospecting and Ideal Client Profile Analysis
Prepare proposals, manage contract negotiations, and oversee the deal-closing process efficiently.
Regularly analyze CRM and marketing automation data to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
Onboarding Snapshot:
Weeks 1-3: join other new SDRs/BDRs in an onboarding class designed to teach you about systems, competitive landscapes, and how to sell Sage.
Week 4: Witness what you learned in weeks 1-3 by shadowing other BDRs.
Weeks 5-12: ramp-up period, with the support of your manager and team, progressing toward being fully independent.
Requirements:
~1+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in ERP, SaaS, or financial technology solutions.
~6+ months of experience in Salesforce or other CRM platforms to manage and track the sales pipeline.
~ BA degree or equivalent experience.
~ Experience using BANT to qualify prospects.
~ People consider you a great storyteller, and you're clear and concise!
~ Heavy cold calling.
~ You believe in small- and mid-sized businesses and want to see them thrive.
~ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a quota-carrying role (top 10-20% of company).
~ Ability to consult with CFOs, Controllers, and finance teams to identify operational pain points and recommend software solutions.
~ Strong understanding of financial processes, multi-entity consolidations, and financial reporting.
~ Sage Intacct knowledge is a MUST to be considered; experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks Enterprise is beneficial.
~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial solutions in a clear, compelling way.
