Phillips Baby Place, cancer care at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute, Winter Park, and state-of-the-art surgery, recovery and rehabilitation at the AdventHealth Orthopedic Institute **The role you'll contribute:** Responsible for providing and supervising respiratory clinical care to specific age groups. This position accepts shift supervisory responsibility in the absence of leadership. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating respiratory care and patient needs. In addition, this position manages cardio-pulmonary life support equipment and modifies care plans based on patient evaluation. This role ensures the utilization of inhaled medical gases and various respiratory therapies. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Performs airway maintenance, including manual resuscitators, suctioning, intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy tube changes per facility needs. + Delivers inhaled medications, bronchial hygiene therapy, and lung expansion therapy, and manages patients receiving inhaled gases. + Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely. + Responds to Code Blue emergencies immediately, providing CPR according to American Heart Association guidelines. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:** + Associate's in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science + Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) + Critical care experience -Preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
