Assembler - Military Box Build

Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Melbourne, FL. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- The Assembler is responsible for assembling, test, program, and packing a variety of circuit board assemblies encompassing Pin Thru-hole and Surface Mount Technologies for the client.
- Follow assembly procedures and visual aid instructions.
- Verify the integrity of the material to be assembled according to the assembly procedure and visual aid instruction.
- Assemble components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, connectors, sockets, etc.) in specific printed circuit board locations, following the procedure and visual aide instruction.
- Pre-form components lead per IPC standard, assembly procedure, and visual aide instruction.
- Wash printed circuit boards.
- Inspect own work to ensure placement accuracy and completeness of work performed.
- Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures.
- Identify and report defective components.
- Perform pack out operations as needed.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the work-in process associated with the work cell.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and the surrounding work space.
- Participate in Quality team meetings, as needed.
- Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.

Pay rate: $16.50/Hour
Shift & hours: 40 Hours/week 1st Shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with manual dexterity
- Minimum 1 year of experience in electro-mechanical assembly in the manufacturing industry
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature.
- Electronic component assembly skills.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC Standards.
- ESD Training.
- Ability to use various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters, and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers)
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read procedures, interpret visual aids, and follow mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Basic computer skills, problem-solving, and workstation skills.
- Ability to operate in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic work environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to read and speak English well.
