We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee maintenance and repair operations for civil roadways, bridges, and transportation assets throughout Southern Florida. This role calls for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, financial acumen, and the ability to train and develop high-performing teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, effectively balancing field execution with strategic oversight to ensure safety, quality, and budget objectives are consistently met.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage roadway, bridge, and transportation maintenance projects across Southern Florida, with travel up to 10% to support projects in other regions.
Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and forecasting to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Direct daily field operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
Train, mentor, and develop field crews to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Collaborate with internal leadership, DOT representatives, and subcontractors to align on goals and expectations.
Prepare project documentation, reporting, and performance analyses for leadership review.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance safety, and increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in civil infrastructure, roadway, bridge, or transportation projects: construction, design, maintenance related will all be considered.
Strong financial acumen with proven experience managing project budgets and P&L responsibility.
Demonstrated success in leading, training, and developing field teams.
In-depth understanding of DOT standards, public works contracts, and transportation asset management.
Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
