IT Infrastructure Engineer I

Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer I Responsibilities: In this role, the Engineer acts as technical resource in support of day to day execution related to new technology deployments for sites and facilities (fulfillment). This role collaborates with the Site Infrastructure Engineers, Project Management and technology project and supports teams ensuring technology integration configuration standards are implemented and technology support and standards documentation gets maintained and updated. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• (40%): Performs basic engineering tasks associated with planning, design, installation (as needed), testing, deployment, and support of all site technologies; Collaborates with more experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems
• (20%): Supports the administration functions related to due diligence assessments on proposed projects to determine technical requirements and points of integration
• (15%): Performs basic to moderate configuration of infrastructure integration technologies
• (15%): Works with higher level Site Infrastructure Engineers and project managers to help minimize the impacts to adjusting project priorities as needed to meet the overall needs of the organization
• (15%): Assist with testing and documenting of new integration tools and methodologies
• (10%): Performs other duties as needed
• Associate's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
• 3+ years of work experience in a medium to large diverse in-depth, enterprise-wide technical environment integrating, implementing and supporting technologies, specifically around network and telecommunication and client/server integration
• Solid customer service skills
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Organizational, analytical, and problem determination/resolution skills
• Ability to prioritize concurrent projects at the task level
• Ability to work in a team structure, driving to aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment amongst IT professionals
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and subjects in a clear and concise manner

• Basic level client/server architectural understanding
• Moderate level network and telecommunications architectural understanding
