Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll (ADP), Bank Reconciliations, Credit Card Reconciliations, Expense Management, General Ledger, and GAAP compliance. This is an onsite role in Tampa offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work in a team that values both professionalism and a family-like culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for corporate operations


• Oversee and process payroll using ADP Workforce Now


• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations


• Manage employee expense reports and ensure policy compliance


• Maintain accurate General Ledger records and supporting documentation


• Collaborate with Sales tax consultant and manage monthly/Quarterly sales tax filing


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements


• Assist with month-end and year-end close


• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls


• Create and maintain advanced Excel reports for financial analysis


• Utilize Zoho Books and other Zoho finance tools for accounting operations


• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and reporting accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 3–5 years of corporate accounting experience


• Experience with ADP payroll processing required


• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)


• Experience with Accounting software like Zoho Books, Netsuite, Quickbooks strongly preferred


• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
