THIS IS NOT A TELEWORK POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE TALLAHASSEE OFFICE.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Location: Centre of Tallahassee Building, 2415 N. Monroe Street, Suite 400 Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Regular business hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday.
Travel may be required.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Professional or non-professional experience as described below can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the preferred college degree.

All documents must be in English, clear, and legible, showing all signatures and pertinent details. Foreign degrees must be validated by a third party to meet the US equivalency requirements. - At least 3 Years of Professional Work Experience
- Knowledge and experience in community organizing and domestic violence prevention is a requirement
Preference will be given to applicants who have:
- Three years of experience working in faith-based and/or domestic violence organizations.
- Minimum two years of experience as a trainer and experience mobilizing communities for social change.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for developing domestic violence programming that empowers members of faith communities to work together with local service providers to end domestic violence. The program coordinator will develop and facilitate ongoing trainings, including the statewide Domestic Violence Chaplain Designation curriculum. The program coordinator will manage the statewide network for Faith-based and Community Initiatives and engage the network in community of practice efforts. The position will offer technical assistance to support to local communities on prevention initiatives that involve community-based collaboration, especially involving culturally-specific and underserved communities. This position will conduct and/or support special projects as assigned.
- Develop and conducts virtual, on-site, regional, and statewide trainings and/or technical assistance for faith communities and domestic violence providers as assigned.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage survivors and underserved communities in coordinated community response.
- Oversees local and statewide prevention efforts through engagement of communities of practice and other meetings.
- Participate in prevention and collaborative meetings with statewide stakeholders.
- Manage the project's network database and designation accreditation.
- Tracks local and statewide prevention efforts through subgrantee reports, conduct annual surveys and establish other methods of program evaluation.
- Provides narratives and data for annual reports and other related written materials as assigned.

- Research emerging prevention strategies and national trends and approaches; communicate expertise clearly to internal/external partners.
- Creates, revises, and distributes materials for initiative-related efforts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Possesses, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree and three years experience working with faith-based and/or domestic violence organizations, or a high school/equivalency diploma and five years working with faith-based and/or domestic violence organizations. Minimum two years experience as a trainer and experience in mobilizing communities for social change. Knowledge and experience in community organizing and domestic violence prevention is a requirement.
