General Surgeon

Lee Health is seeking a General Surgery Physician!

Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty care providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group General Surgery is seeking a full time, experienced BC/BE General Surgeon to join 7 established general surgeons and 9 APs to keep up with growing demand. Physician can expect to be busy day one & see a wide variety of patients at 2 acute care hospitals, HealthPark Medical Center and Lee Memorial.

Bread & butter general surgery. Hernias, gallbladders, etc. Minimally invasive procedures.

DaVinci Robot is available for general surgery.

No trauma.

Call is 1:6 to include night call, emergent procedures and weekend rounding (one weekend per month)

One day in clinic/office per week

Physicians use Dragon dictation and EPIC EHR
