This role establishes and enforces uncompromising standards for personnel safety, equipment protection, quality execution, and professional conduct across all I&E activities. The position leads complex, high-risk installations and actively mitigates risk to personnel, equipment, schedule, and cost while driving a Zero Injuries mindset, strong site culture, and first-time quality execution.

  • Drive a Zero Injuries mindset through leadership of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and reinforcement of electrical hazard controls.
  • Influence EPC contractors and partners to meet safety, quality, and contractual obligations.
  • Champion first-time quality execution through installation strategy development, inspection hold points, and readiness verification.
  • Lead resolution of complex I&E technical issues impacting cost, reliability, performance, or warranty exposure.
  • Own and drive high-impact Project Action Requests (PARs), coordinating responsible parties and escalating as required.
  • Support Construction Site Services Managers by identifying emerging I&E risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Mentor and develop I&E TFA I and II personnel, strengthening technical depth and leadership consistency.
  • Shape a strong site safety and quality culture through visible field leadership and accountability.
  • Maintain a strong field presence to validate work quality and prevent rework.
  • Prepare and distribute daily construction or commissioning support reports.
  • Maintain and update I&E punch lists and lessons learned documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent power plant construction experience.
  • Minimum eight years of progressive I&E field experience on large EPC power generation projects.
  • Extensive experience with Mitsubishi Power or comparable OEM GTCC installations including DCS, EBoP, and field instrumentation.
  • OSHA 10-hour training recommended but not required.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills applied to electrical and control systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical documentation, schematics, and control logic.
  • Proficiency with databases, project management tools, spreadsheets, word processing, and technical documentation software.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%.

Why Should You Apply?

  • Excellent Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K Matching).

  • Tuition reimbursement and on-the-job training.
  • Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.
  • Committed to quality products and services.
