Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required, including evaluation, plan of care development, and 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions.
• Demonstrated competency with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per clinic and payer requirements.
• Ability to supervise or provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services and to participate in student education as assigned.
• Maintains compliance with state practice act, professional code of conduct, and state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Preferred: prior travel or PRN experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with functional, community-focused treatment planning.

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Patient Visit Structure: 60-minute initial evaluations and treatment sessions as needed.
• Clinical Focus: Evaluation, development and modification of individualized treatment plans, functional program design, and patient/family education.
• Documentation: Timely, accurate medical record documentation and charge entry in compliance with clinic policies and payer guidelines.
• Professional Expectations: Uphold patient and employee safety standards, participate in performance improvement, and maintain licensure and competencies.
