- Collaborate with clients and our in-house designer to gain information and finalize event decor plans.
- Assist the designer by taking notes, organizing ideas, and turning concepts into actionable production plans.
- Plan and coordinate all event logistics, including warehouse & vendor communication.
- Lead onsite event setup, ensuring all decor elements are placed according to design specifications and the final product achieves the high expected standard.
- Oversee staff assignments, delegate onsite tasks, and ensure efficiency during setup.
- Communicate with venues, rental companies, and other vendors to secure necessary items and services.
- Maintain budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective event execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve unexpected issues with a calm and solutions-oriented approach.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Experience: 1-3+ years in event coordination, event production, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Leadership, multitasking, problem-solving, budgeting, vendor negotiation, and team management.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some weeks may exceed 40 hours, while summer months (approximately 3 months) have significantly reduced hours.
- Physical Demands: Comfortable with lifting, standing for long periods, and working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to event venues and office as needed.
- Attitude: Candidates should possess a proactive attitude, creativity in problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. This includes willingness to work long days, early mornings, and going above and beyond to achieve the best possible results.
- Ability as well as willingness to work as a part of a team.
- Valid Drivers license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
