WAREHOUSE DOCK WORKER

THE POSITION:

As a Material Handler at our Logistics Facility, you will:

• Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers
• Transport materials and donated merchandise through day to day operations at Logistics Center
• Operate assigned equipment in a safe manner, including forklift
• Assisting in guiding the movement of vehicles in a safe manner; loading and unloading of vehicles; and maintaining the vehicles in a clean, neat, and safe manner, in accordance with organizational policies and procedure
• Assists White Glove Service in picking up donated goods from customer’s home and/or businesses etc, along with unloading at GIM locations. Ensures all donated merchandise is properly secured and well cared for to prevent damage while in transport.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work independently
• Prior warehouse or dock worker experience required
• Certified Forklift Operator required
• Safety certifications preferred
• Driver spotter experience preferred
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to 40 pounds with no support regularly
