Smoke Shop Sales Associate

:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Smoke Shop and providing exceptional guest service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations of tobacco and vape sales, and enforces such regulations such as age restriction.

2. Accurately handles cash and credit card transactions.

3. Able to operate Point of Sales Register to total guests' purchases and accurately balance cash drawer on a daily basis.

4. Maintains inventory and displays to merchandising standards by stocking, facing, straightening, and cleaning or any other task necessary to maintain appearance of salability of items.

5. Maintain cleanliness of store and stock room by re-shelving merchandise, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

6. Assists customers by phone or in person by responding to requests for orders or information.

7. Solicits sales of new or additional products.

8. Maintains a professional appearance and conduct behavior in a mature and professional manner.

9. Performs all other duties to be assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Must have and maintain a clean criminal record with no prior infractions related to tobacco sales.

• Sales skills and experience a must.

• Must possess effective communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Minimum of one year vape or smoke experience.

• Minimum of one year cash handling experience.

• Proven ability to work with numbers and cash accurately.

• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Monthly sales bonus and incentives offered.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
