As the Sales Manager at Gilbert Chevrolet, you will lead from the front. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with salespeople, jump into deals to help close, support negotiations in real time, and model what great selling looks like on the floor.
Equally important, you will be responsible for developing sales talent. Through consistent coaching, real-time teaching, and structured training, you'll bridge skill gaps across the team, turning potential into performance and building confident, capable closers not just for today, but for the long term.
This role also requires a modern sales mindset. You'll personally understand and coach others on how social media, digital visibility, A l tools, and CRM systems drive customer interest, conversations, and closed deals.

Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $60,000
• On-target first-year earnings of $120,000+, with a base salary plus performance-based commissions

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team t o meet and exceed monthly and annual sales
goals
• Step into deals and handle closings alongside sales consultants to maximize
conversion and profitability
• Remain active on the sales floor, supporting negotiations and leading by example
• Coach, teach, and develop sales consultants daily through real-time feedback, role-playing, and live deal support
• Identify skill gaps and actively bridge them through hands-on training and mentoring
• Break down the sales process: lead handling, follow-up, negotiation, and closing into teachable, repeatable systems
• Leverage Al-driven tools, CRM platforms, and automation to improve lead response time, follow-up consistency, and sales efficiency
• Use and coach the team on social media and digital platforms to generate inbound traffic and customer interest
• Develop and execute sales strategies that connect digital visibility to showroom traffic and closed deals
• Monitor performance metrics and sales data to identify coaching and improvement opportunities
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of sales consultants
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure a smooth sales-to-delivery experience
• Stay current on product knowledge, digital sales trends, and competitive market activity
