As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in West Palm Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government location, where you will help screen visitors, monitor access points, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help identify security-related concerns, remain visible to help deter incidents, and work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors, staff, and/or personal belongings at designated entry points using approved screening equipment and established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, directing foot traffic, and/or maintaining orderly screening lines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
