Within the operating room and broader perioperative services, the Nurse Supervisor Operating Room will help lead a dynamic service line anchored by a 281-bed acute care hospital part of a large reputable health system in south Florida, 14 operating rooms, enabling a robust case mix across general, ortho, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, robotics, ENT, urology, and bariatrics; as a Nurse Coordinator Operating Room, expect efficient OR turnover, smooth block scheduling, and the resources to deliver safe, high-acuity care supported by skilled anesthesia partners, SPD, pharmacy, and advanced analytics that streamline workflows and drive exceptional outcomes.

Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Assistant Nurse Manager Surgical Services will collaborate closely with perioperative leadership, surgeons, anesthesia, and department educators while leading charge RNs and service-line coordinators; this Nurse Supervisor Operating Room role includes staffing optimization, daily huddles, surgeon relations, preference-card integrity, regulatory readiness, quality and safety initiatives, onboarding and precepting, and performance improvement with strong backing from clinical education, informatics, materials management, and a friendly, diverse nursing and allied health team united by respect, teamwork, and a Just Culture approach.
