Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Work Foreman to oversee grading, site preparation, and earthwork operations. This role requires hands-on leadership, equipment operation skills, and the ability to coordinate crews to complete projects efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has strong site development knowledge and proven field leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead site work crews on grading, excavation, and site prep projects.

• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, dozers, excavators, and skid steers as needed.

• Read and interpret site plans, grades, and construction documents.

• Ensure all grading and site prep meet project specifications and quality standards.

• Manage daily work schedules, crew assignments, and project timelines.

• Conduct site inspections for safety, productivity, and equipment readiness.

• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients as needed.

• Train and mentor crew members in equipment operation, safety, and site work practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of site work and grading experience, including operating heavy equipment.

• Strong understanding of site prep, grading, erosion control, and earthwork processes.

• Previous experience as a foreman or crew leader in site development.

• Ability to read site drawings, grading plans, and elevations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
