Field Service Manager

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage field personnel, crews, and service teams across multiple job sites.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate field activities, including manpower, equipment, and materials allocation.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor daily field operations to maintain productivity, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and office staff to align field execution with project scope and budget.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and performance evaluations of crews and subcontractors.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and implement timely solutions to minimize project delays.
  • Document field activities, including daily reports, time tracking, and job progress updates.
  • Train, mentor, and develop field staff to enhance performance and support career growth.
  • Enforce company standards for workmanship, safety, and professionalism on all job sites.
  • Assist with equipment management, maintenance scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients on job sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
  • 5–10+ years of field experience in construction, industrial services, or concrete work.
  • 2–5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, safety practices, and field operations.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations; OSHA certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with basic technology, including tablets, field reporting software, and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
