Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a skilled Imaging - Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support specialized radiological procedures in a dynamic healthcare setting. This travel opportunity requires a professional dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services, assisting physicians in interventional procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the diagnostic process.
Location
Position is based in West Palm Beach, FL. Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the assignment location. West Palm Beach offers beautiful coastal living, vibrant cultural activities, and excellent amenities, making it a great place for both work and leisure.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Call required
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Associates Degree or equivalent from an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license
- Current State/District Radiologic license and Radiation Quality Standards compliance
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiological imaging, preferably in interventional radiology
- Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
Responsibilities
- Perform radiological functions for special procedures and interventional examinations
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures, providing diagnostic imaging support
- Conduct organ or body scans accurately and safely
- Administer and document isotope dosages following established protocols
- Monitor patients during procedures and promptly report any abnormalities or concerns
