TEKsystems is currently seeking detail-oriented, career-driven professionals for a Mortgage Closer opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Pensacola, FL area. Position Overview

As a Mortgage Closer, you will play a vital role in the home lending process by ensuring mortgage loans are prepared, coordinated, and closed accurately and efficiently. You will work with conventional, VA, and FHA loan products while partnering with settlement companies and internal teams to facilitate successful closings and funding.

This position offers valuable experience within the mortgage industry and provides an opportunity to develop expertise in loan documentation, compliance, and mortgage operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review mortgage closing packages for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate the closing and funding of assigned mortgage loan files.
  • Ensure mortgage loans are closed in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with settlement companies to facilitate successful loan closings.
  • Process conventional, VA, and FHA mortgage products.
  • Review documentation and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely funding.
  • Maintain accuracy while managing multiple loan files and deadlines.
  • Support a smooth and positive experience for borrowers and business partners throughout the closing process.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous banking, mortgage, real estate, or financial services experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of recent administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Schedule

Training Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Schedule After Training

  • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM OR
  • 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Candidates must be flexible and available to work either shift, as schedules will be assigned after training.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule
  • Pensacola, FL
  • Minimum of 3 days onsite per week

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.44 - $18.44/hr.
