Hospitalist/Hospital at Home

Lee Health is recruiting physicians (MD or DO) to work in our new and growing Hospital at Home Program.

We are a tight knit team that seeks use this care pathway to deliver improved patient satisfaction, decreased mortality, and decreased readmissions. Additionally, we strategically integrate emerging technologies and innovative approaches into our practice.

This position is a 7on/7off schedule that will work 50% of the scheduled shifts as an Inpatient Hospitalist in one of our acute care facilities and the other 50% providing patient care for our Hospital at Home patients. Hospitalists do not perform procedures, intubate or run codes. Acute care rounds do include medical management of ICU patients with direct involvement and collaboration with a critical care physician in our semi-closed critical care model.

Candidate Qualifications:

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Ability to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida and DEA

Minimum 3 years experience working in Hospitalist Medicine

Current BLS Certification
