Regional Marketing Manager
The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating regional marketing strategies that support student recruitment, brand visibility, community engagement, and hub operations.
This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across regional marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent brand representation while tailoring campaigns to local market needs.
The role oversees regional marketing staff, collaborates with centralized marketing and recruitment teams, and drives integrated campaigns across digital, social, events, partnerships, and public relations.
This position plays a critical role in:
- Expanding regional brand awareness and visibility
- Supporting student recruitment, enrollment, and conversion
- Developing compelling regional content and campaigns
- Driving digital, social, and community engagement
- Ensuring brand consistency across all regional and hub-based activities
Strategic Planning & Performance Reporting
- Contribute to the development of annual regional marketing plans aligned with organizational growth objectives and local market dynamics.
- Establish reporting frameworks to track marketing activity, campaign performance, and KPIs.
- Provide regular insights on regional market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for increased visibility and engagement.
- Lead the regional execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, events, partnerships, and PR.
- Ensure all campaigns adhere to brand standards while being culturally and regionally relevant.
- Partner with central marketing teams to adapt core messaging for regional audiences.
- Deliver campaigns that support inquiry generation, applications, and conversion.
- Manage region-specific digital channels including websites, social media platforms, and email marketing.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content such as videos, testimonials, student and alumni stories, employer partnerships, and hub-based initiatives.
- Ensure regional web pages are accurate, current, user-friendly, and optimized for engagement.
- Support recruitment goals through targeted marketing content and conversion-focused campaigns.
- Develop region-specific marketing collateral for prospective students, partners, and influencers.
- Collaborate closely with admissions and recruitment teams to ensure alignment on messaging, timelines, and campaign execution.
- Build strong working relationships with central marketing, communications, and external relations teams.
- Partner with academic leaders, hub leadership, and local external partners.
- Represent marketing in hub leadership meetings and regional strategic discussions.
- Plan and support regional events including open houses, information sessions, recruitment fairs, corporate visits, alumni events, and partner engagements.
- Ensure all events reflect brand standards and deliver a high-quality experience.
- Support regional PR and media engagement opportunities as appropriate.
- Lead, manage, and develop regional marketing coordinators and executives.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and identify professional development needs.
- Foster a collaborative, results-oriented marketing culture.
- Serve as a senior regional marketing representative in broader organizational contexts when required.
- Ensure all marketing activity complies with brand guidelines, data protection regulations, and applicable laws.
- Support cross-functional initiatives related to growth, partnerships, and regional expansion.
- Perform additional duties aligned with the scope and seniority of the role.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Master's degree or professional marketing certification (e.g., CIM, AMA, IDM).
- Demonstrated experience delivering marketing strategy at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
- Proven ability to use data, analytics, and market insights to inform decision-making.
- Experience leading marketing teams and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Experience developing campaigns for diverse, regional, or international audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in complex, evolving environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
- Proven project management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
