Folding Machine Operator
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Folding Machine Operator to join our team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our production process by operating and maintaining folding machines to ensure high-quality output. If you have a knack for machinery and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate folding machines according to specifications and production requirements.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality output.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on folding machines as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Document production data and machine performance as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
- Previous experience as a folding machine operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and and strong math skills to understand roof pitches and exact degree to bend parts at.
- Basic mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
