JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Return Resolution Specialist - Revenue Specialist II position in the General Tax Administration Program, Return Reconciliation Process, Corporate and Motor Fuel Tax Unit. The incumbent reviews tax returns to ensure that the information provided complies with applicable instructions, regulations, and statutes governing individual taxes, and issues correctly calculated bills when taxpayers fail to comply. The incumbent also verifies that the correct payments are applied to the accounts and returns.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Administrative, secretarial, clerical, or financial experience.
  • Customer service experience.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • College education from an accredited institution can substitute for the required work experience.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This is a full-time position. The required work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • This position is eligible for telework and flexible scheduling after you complete the required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,330.00 monthly/$39,960.00 annually.
