VIP Food Server

PeopleReady of Hollywood, FL is hiring VIP Food Servers for Cirque du Soleil in Hallandale Beach, February 19th to April 25th! Come be part of the fun today!

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a VIP Food Server :

• Welcome guests at the VIP tent entrance and offer an entrance drink
• Pass food to guests throughout the VIP tent and attached terrace areas
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (market dependent)
• Clean coffee stations, food service areas, and VIP areas
• Clear and clean tables of food, drinks, and general waste
• Restock beverage refrigerators and food stations
• Replenish bars and food stations with napkins and utensils
• Ensure hand-washing stations are stocked with soap and paper towels
• Perform inventory checks on food and supply items
• Change trash, compost, and recycling bags and dispose of waste in designated bins
• Assist dishwasher as needed
• Prepare VIP areas by cleaning, vacuuming, and arranging furniture
• Participate in setup and teardown of kitchen and catering areas
• Assist other departments or areas as needed
• Ensure all guest needs are met in a prompt, professional, and efficient manner
• Respond to guest requests, questions, complaints, and unusual situations
• Provide personalized service and use guest names when possible
• Observe guests to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain strict cleanliness standards in the VIP area

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) & Weekends

Job requirements:

• Maintain a professional, clean appearance with good posture. Note: Employees must arrive in black shirts, pants, and shoes (no logos)
• Be physically able to stand for long periods of time
• Understand customer service and hospitality standards
• Pay close attention to detail and work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Have a welcoming and friendly attitude, including smiling and proper greetings
• Work well with others and know when to seek assistance from a supervisor
• Demonstrate the ability to learn and retain point-of-sale (POS) system information
• Be available for the entire duration of the show's run in the city
• Must be fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
• Background Check Required
