*Growth Opportunity Job Details Job Details: Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing our civil engineering projects. This is a permanent position that requires a skilled professional with a deep understanding of the principles of civil engineering and a passion for transforming ideas into reality. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from infrastructure design to stormwater management and hydrology. Responsibilities: 1. Develop detailed designs for civil engineering projects using CAD software and Civil 3D.
2. Collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
4. Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
5. Prepare and present detailed reports and design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
6. Apply expert knowledge of design principles and standards related to roadways, stormwater management systems, and other infrastructure.
7. Use Hydraflow and HEC-RAS for hydrology and hydraulic analysis.
8. Ensure all designs and projects comply with local and federal regulations.
9. Oversee project teams and supervise the work of junior engineers, providing guidance and mentorship. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design and project management.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.
4. Proficient in CAD, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydraflow, and HEC-RAS.
5. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices.
6. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
8. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Must be a registered or licensed engineer.
10. Strong understanding of hydrology and stormwater management.
