What You Need

• Master Degree in Human Services or related field from a nationally accredited college or university
• LCSW, LMHC or LMFT is required or license eligible and pursuing completing licensure within 1 year or less
• A minimum of two years of experience in social work, counseling or related area of experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Does psychosocial assessment upon assignment of case
• Provides treatment planning and oversight for the behavioral health programming associated with implementing those treatment plans on assigned caseload
• Provides individual, group, and family therapy to the residents and their families
• Maintains case records
• Completes discharge summary at discharge
• Administers the Children’s Functional Assessment Rating Scale (Florida Version) on all children in assigned caseload
• Attends psychiatric appointments
• Under rare circumstances may attend court hearings, judicial reviews, or other legal meetings as necessary or required
• Participates in guardian Ad Litem and or case manager meetings/staffing as needed
• Arranges home visits for the residents
• Works as the liaison between the Home and the family
• Coordinates community resources as needed by individual residents
• Facilitates treatment plan review/changeover meetings
• Is responsive to staff and residents when there is a need for crisis counseling
• Meets regularly and as needed with direct reports to adequately lead the planning, implementing and evaluating of the services, systems and structure in the assigned cottage program
• Remains current and fluent regarding agency personnel policies and practices and manages within these policies
• Also serves as an on-call clinician for assigned residents
• Attends bi-weekly clinical supervision with direct supervisor
• Attends Clinical Department meetings for supervisory development sessions
• Coordinates with superiors to develop and implement staff retention strategies
• Ensures staff participation in team decisions
