The Role You’ll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce our search for a Claims Operations Lead at our office in Clearwater, FL ! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by providing management and employee development to the claims support staff as well as ensuring workflow efficiency.

1. Supervises and coordinates GL Claims Support Staff activities to include, but not limited to, handling incoming/outgoing mail, setting up claims, liaison support between coverage and claims handling. Plans and assigns work to ensure proper scheduling and management, contributes to employee development and completes performance reviews.
2. Communicates with the team through regular meetings and actively seeking feedback from internal customers to ensure processes and procedures meet Examiner needs. Maintain/ improve Claims Support Unit efficiency, effectiveness, employee satisfaction, and department support.
3. Analyzes operating procedures; recommends forward thinking solutions, generating ideas for continuous improvement and implement the approved changes.
4. Confirms active coverage for General Liability (GL) policies for reported claims.
5. Recognizes problems early and implements efficient solutions, quickly. Escalates issues to upper claims management where appropriate.
6. Responds to and addresses complaint calls and emails received from claimant, agent, and/or insured. Escalates to upper management when necessary.
7. Monitors legal bill review system. Confirms legal matters are entered timely and correctly, confirms matter statuses are updated timely, adds new users, verifies new firms have been added and verifies firm rates are correct.
8. Reviews the accuracy and clarity of all documents. Delivers thorough and complete work, processing, providing information and documenting. Track details and create accurate documentation even under pressure. Respond to management requests for information and recommendations in an appropriate and timely manner.
9. Works consistently in a positive and collaborative manner with fellow team members. Demonstrates leadership ability. Set s a positive example for the team by modeling all core company values, policies, and guidelines.

The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include a minimum of two (2) years of working knowledge of commercial liability claims, as well as a minimum of two (2) years working as a supervisor or manager. A bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree or claims designation is required.
