Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects while maintaining DBK’s commitment to quality, safety, budget, schedule, and client satisfaction. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between clients, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered to DBK’s Higher Standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-construction through complete project buy-out, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
• Collaborate with Operations, Field Leadership, and Sales to ensure consistent messaging and execution.
• Actively manage client expectations related to schedule, cost, and scope throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively address client concerns and escalate risks to maintain confidence and satisfaction.
• Support long-term client relationships by ensuring a high-quality project experience from pre-award through closeout.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure efficient field execution and adherence to safety and quality standards
• Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and performance management
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Facilitate and lead regular project meetings, serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients to support long-term relationship building
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation
• Support continuous improvement by providing post-project feedback to Construction, Sales and Estimating teams.
• Actively support Sales and Estimating efforts to secure new work and expand existing client relationships.
• Attend client job walks, site visits, and presentations to support business development and relationship growth.
• Represent Operations during sales, marketing, and industry events, including trade shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project/Excel, PlanGrid, PlanSwift or similar tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
