Position Summary:

The server is a floor leader who works closely with management to guide service, maintain standards, and support servers and support staff during service. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys being hands-on, setting the tone on the floor, and creating a smooth, welcoming experience for both guests and team members.

• Lead and oversee dining room service during assigned shifts
• Act as a point of contact for guests, servers, and management
• Ensure service standards, pacing, and timing are executed consistently
• Support, mentor, and assist servers, runners, and bussers during service
• Handle guest needs, special requests, and service recovery with professionalism and warmth
• Coordinate service flow with the kitchen and bar to maintain strong pacing
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, cocktails, beverages, and daily specials
• Step in to serve tables as needed while maintaining a leadership presence on the floor

• 2–3 years of experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
• Previous Lead Server or Captain experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and positive in a fast-paced environment
• Hospitality-driven mindset with strong guest awareness
