Associate Director, Product Owner

Gartner
Fort Myers, FL

About this role

We’re looking for a dynamic, tech‑savvy Product Owner to lead our Pendo platform strategy and execution—driving internal user engagement, improving UX, and integrating with our CRM platform. This role sits at the intersection of technology, user experience, and business impact, and is critical to enabling our sales teams to operate with clarity, agility, and scale.

What you’ll do

  • Own the Pendo platform : Manage vendor relationship, roadmap, and day‑to‑day operations including guide creation, user segmentation, and platform optimization.
  • Drive user engagement : Build and iterate in‑app communications and guides that help users discover value, take action, and build momentum.
  • Analyze user behavior : Leverage Pendo analytics to uncover insights, identify friction points, and inform UX improvements and product strategy.
  • Improve UX across surfaces : Collaborate with UX, product owners, and business stakeholders to enhance user journeys and drive intuitive, impactful experiences.
  • Partner on cross‑functional pilots and initiatives : Partner with Sales Ops, IT, and Product teams to align on goals, define requirements, and deliver solutions that scale.
  • Champion agility and innovation : Operate with a no‑limits mindset, continuously seeking new ways to improve tools, processes, and outcomes.
  • Support change management : Drive adoption through thoughtful communication, training, and enablement programs.

What you will need

  • 6–8 years of experience in product management, marketing technology, or related roles
  • Hands‑on experience with Pendo or similar platforms (e.g., WalkMe, Gainsight PX)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce and its capabilities
  • Light development experience (e.g., HTML/CSS/JS) and comfort working with technical teams
  • Proven ability to manage vendors and drive strategic partnerships
  • Deep empathy for users and a passion for improving user experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence across functions
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and experimentation
  • Bachelor's degree required

What you’ll get

  • Competitive salary, generous paid time off policy, charity match program, medical, dental & vision plans, parental leave, employee assistance program (EAP), 401K matching, and more!
