Sales Technician

Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s electrical products, systems, and services.
- Provide accurate information and product demonstrations to customers.
- Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate electrical solutions to clients.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotes to potential customers.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by management.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and community events to promote the company and its products.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the electrical or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally to client sites or trade shows as needed.
- Flexibility in working hours to meet client needs.
