Massage Therapist
• Provide high quality massage
• Analyze client’s condition and determine any contraindications.
• Provide chair massage when not with scheduled clientele.
• Be available for massage consultation.
• Responsible for ordering and receiving of all professional supplies.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms
• Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment.
• Greets every guest and member entering the facility.
• Effectively takes service appointments with detailed attention.
• Reports to shift on time and in appropriate uniform. Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Outwardly positive attitude and enthusiastic towards job.
• Able to enforce club policies tactfully.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and/or expressively.
• Able to be a patient and courteous listener.
• Some computer skills helpful.
• Needs a flexible schedule to work day, night, weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time while performing spa services.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Education & Work Experience Requirements:
• Must have completed and successfully graduated from a massage course.
• Must have a valid state license.
• Must have at least one year experience working as a massage therapist.
• Must have at least 2 years experience in the country club or hospitality industry.
• Must have knowledge of a variety of massage types (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Reflexology etc.).
