Legal Billing Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Legal Billing Assistant to join our client and support critical billing operations within a busy Finance department. This role plays an essential part in ensuring accurate, timely invoicing and maintaining clean, updated client data within the firm’s billing system. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial and administrative workflows. This is an onsite, temporary opportunity based in Palm Beach, FL, ideal for someone looking to support a professional services environment and contribute to billing efficiency.
Compensation:
$26–$28/hr
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Billing Assistant:
- Support the Finance team by handling daily billing tasks and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
- Process billing edits and make necessary updates within the Aderant Expert system to maintain accurate invoice data.
- Maintain and update client records, including contact details and email information, to ensure clean and complete profiles.
- Collaborate with internal team members to resolve billing questions and keep workflows moving efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills for the Legal Billing Assistant:
- Previous experience working with Aderant Expert or a similar legal billing system.
- Strong data accuracy skills and the ability to manage detailed administrative updates.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for partnering with Finance and other internal stakeholders.
