Company Description
We are looking for Food Runner to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.
Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.
Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the general guidance of the Restaurant Manager, the Runner is responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage team by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guests. The Runner contributes to a smooth and efficient service flow, upholding brand standards, and works collaboratively with the kitchen and service staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist servers and bartenders by promptly delivering food and beverages to guests’ tables in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that all orders are delivered correctly and that presentation meets brand standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate and prioritize food delivery.
- Clear plates, glasses, and utensils from tables quickly and discreetly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for next guests.
- Replenish supplies such as condiments, napkins, and utensils at service stations as needed throughout the shift.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas according to restaurant standards.
- Support the team by responding swiftly to guest requests and assisting wherever needed to maintain smooth service flow.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report any guest concerns or issues to supervisors immediately for prompt resolution.
- Maintain personal work area cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor to ensure excellent guest experience.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
- We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
