Snapshot of key accountabilities of the LPN:

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care during patient intake, procedures, recovery, and follow-up in line with Planned Parenthood’s mission.
• Educate and support patients on birth control options, abortion care, and reproductive health services in a non-directive, judgment-free manner.
• Assist with in-clinic procedures (including LARCs, colposcopies, abortions, and vasectomies), ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Administer medications, monitor recovery, and manage documentation in compliance with licensure and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain an efficient, welcoming, and safe environment for all patients.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including quality assurance, productivity goals, and team-based care.
• Maintain medical supply inventory, support daily operations, and uphold infection prevention protocols between patient visits.
• Serve in specialized roles such as Centralized Follow-Up or Ultrasound (if applicable), following all outlined requirements, certifications, and protocols.

Experience/Education of the LPN:

• Valid Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• IV certification required
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience recommended
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)/Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Strong understanding of and personal commitment to reproductive rights and Planned Parenthood’s mission
• Effective organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
• Comfort discussing topics such as sexuality, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, and pregnancy options
• Ability to function appropriately in sensitive or emotionally charged situations
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred

Benefits and Compensation:

• Hourly compensation range for the LPN: Starting at $29.00/ hour
• Eligible for all applicable benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days from your hire date.
• Paid Time Off accrues immediately but can't be taken until after 90 full days of employment: We value work-life balance, offering generous PTO and holidays.
