Credit and Collections Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) Credit and Collections Specialist to support our credit and collections management processes. This role contributes to customer risk evaluations and ensures timely follow-up on payment commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain open and effective communication with the commercial/sales team and clients, including regular meetings to monitor credit and collection processes.


• Prepare required documentation for RFI & proposals 7 bids.


• Manage, control, and follow up on accounts receivable collections.


• Apply incoming payments accurately.


• Conduct viability and debt capacity analyses for customers.


• Perform credit risk assessments.


• Process credit notes related to price differences, exchange rate adjustments, and early payment discounts.


• Issue debit notes for financial interest and exchange rate differences.


• Compile and present analytical reports based on reviewed information.


• Participate in additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.


• At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.


• Fluency in both Spanish and English (oral and written) is required.
