We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Packing Associate to join our manufacturing team. The Packing Associate will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring that packaging standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Package finished products accurately and efficiently to ensure safe shipment.
- Inspect items for defects or quality issues before packaging.
- Label and seal packages according to company specifications.
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate records of packed items and assist in inventory management.
- Organize and maintain the packing area, ensuring a clean and clutter-free workspace.
- Follow safety procedures and report any concerns or hazards to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and packing goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move up to [specify weight, e.g., 30 lbs] as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
