The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add a Freight Audit & Pay Supervisor to our Freight team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end freight payment process, ensuring accurate and timely auditing, processing, and reconciliation of transportation invoices across all modes. This role will manage a team of coordinators and a third-party payment partner to drive compliance, improve invoice accuracy, and support cost control efforts through root cause analysis and process improvement. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the freight audit and payment function, including oversight of third-party freight audit & pay providers.


• Ensure accurate and timely processing of freight invoices across all transportation modes (truckload, LTL, rail, intermodal, ocean, air).


• Monitor discrepancies and dispute resolution processes, working cross-functionally with carriers, transportation planners, procurement, and finance teams.


• Lead root cause analysis for recurring invoice issues or exceptions and drive corrective actions.


• Validate freight accruals and support month-end close processes in partnership with finance.


• Develop and report KPIs related to invoice accuracy, payment timeliness, exception rate, and claims recovery.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and audit standards.


• Collaborate on system enhancements, integrations, or automation projects related to freight payment platforms.


• Support annual freight budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing historical spend data and trend analysis.


• Train and develop team members and support continuous improvement culture.

The Perfect Blend: Experience

• 3+ years of experience in freight audit & pay, logistics finance, or transportation operations.


• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Working knowledge of freight payment platforms (e.g., Cass) and ERP systems (SAP).


• Proficient in Excel and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau a plus).


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future  


• Must be located in Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.


• Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana Plant in Bradenton, FL
