Laborer

IMC Electrical is currently seeking dependable and motivated laborers to join our team for a major electrical project at NAS Pensacola. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile, large-scale federal project that plays a vital role in supporting critical infrastructure. As a valued member of our team, you'll contribute to meaningful work while gaining experience alongside a skilled and experienced electricians in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Role Overview:

Performs a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations, including loading and unloading materials, cleaning and preparing job sites, assisting skilled tradespeople, and following all site safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists with loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Cleans and prepares construction or job sites by removing debris and hazards
• Operates hand and power tools as directed
• Follows instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople
• Maintains tools and equipment in good working condition
• Digs trenches, rakes and removes dirt, sets up scaffolding, and performs other manual tasks as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience as a laborer or in a similar role is a plus

Capabilities:

• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and follow directions
• Knowledgeable of safety protocols and ability to address safety hazards
• Reliable and punctual

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often exposed to the natural elements of cold, heat, moisture, and wind.
• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
• Must be able to lift between 50-100 pounds.

Other:

• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. All candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screen, and obtain base access. Must have a valid driver's license.
