About The Role
As an Instructional Designer/Program Manager, you will design and develop engaging and effective learning solutions for various audiences and platforms. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and make recommendations for improvement. This position will also partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on programs that build engagement at all levels, increase individual and organizational capability, and drive business growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Apply adult learning theory, instructional design models, and user-centered design principles to create new courses or revise existing curriculum.
- Design and develop various learning solutions (e-learning, videos, simulations, games, job aids, assessments, instructor-led training) using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360.
- Develop and organize training materials for TGCD programs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and stakeholders to conduct needs analysis, define learning objectives, create storyboards, and develop instructional materials.
- Analyze, update, and refine existing content.
- Lead train-the-trainer (T3) delivery of assigned training programs.
- Utilize AI-generated insights to identify program content improvements.
- Research new technologies and review current courses to optimize the learning process.
- Partner with People Analytics to develop and leverage tools for analyzing and reporting on TGCD program effectiveness and ROI.
- Conduct formative and summative evaluations to measure learning solution effectiveness.
- Support the development of internal and external communications from the TGCD team.
- Design and develop microlearning content using strong instructional design principles.
- Consult, coach, train, and partner with facilitators for effective execution of TGCD strategies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, instructional design, education, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate sales-driven Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization.
- Proven track record in applying instructional design principles, curriculum and training design, facilitation, talent development processes, adult learning theory, training material delivery, and measurement of training effectiveness and ROI.
- Demonstrated competence with various learning modalities and technologies (e-learning, instructor-led training, webinars, videos, podcasts, simulations, games, etc.).
- Proficiency with instructional design applications: Articulate (Storyline 360, Rise 360) is required; Adobe Creative Cloud and Camtasia are preferred; Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Knowledge of HRIS/LMS (SuccessFactors or similar preferred).
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning and exploring new technologies (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence).
- Excellent project management skills.
