North American Operations Manager (Palm Beach County)

Redstone are working with a global commodity trading house that are expanding and looking to hire a Regional Operations Manager to oversee trading operations across North America.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Lead the North American Trading Operations team, focused on dry bulk raw materials (coal, coke, cement, and cementitious products)
• Coordinate end-to-end operational and logistics activities including contract execution, shipping, documentation, laytime calculations and trade finance.
• Work closely with trading, chartering, logistics, finance, and compliance teams to ensure timely and efficient end to end trade process.
• Oversee stockpile, terminal and inventory activities across the US and Canada
• Lead a team regional operations staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives.
• Role reports to the VP of Operations.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 15+ years of experience in commodity trade operations, with a strong focus on dry bulk products such as raw materials, metals, grains, oilseeds, agricultural, fertilizers etc. (coal, coke, cement and cementitious experience is advantageous but not mandatory).
• Strong and proven experience managing and leading a team/s.
• Deep understanding of shipping, trade documentation, letters of credit, and logistics in the North American market (vessel, truck, rail, barge, terminal).
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Located in South Florida or happy to relocate (must have right to work in the USA)
