Position: Exempt Organization Tax Executive

: We are seeking an experienced Exempt Organization Tax Executive Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Exempt Organization Tax Executive at MSL, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. You will oversee a team of talented professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and expertise in the non-exempt tax arena with 990s to include review and preparation.
• Develop and mentor a team of high-quality staff.
• Deliver a comprehensive range of tax services in full compliance with laws and regulations within specified timeframes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering expert planning and consulting.
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks.
• Coordinate the efforts of the accounting staff and assess their performance.
• Manage the tax provision and tax compliance process.
• Enhance processes by developing and implementing best practices.
• Oversee and coordinate tax audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Three to eight years of public accounting experience
• Active state Certified Public Accountant license or equivalent recognized by the firm (e.g. Chartered Professional Accountant) required at certain levels.
• Active driver's license and proof of insurance
• Proven track record of managing multiple clients.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay: $82,540.00 - $132,016.00 per year
