Your responsibilities will include supervising playtime, assisting with pet care routines, and providing exceptional customer service to pet owners. Duties

• Supervise dogs during play sessions, ensuring safe interactions and preventing aggressive behavior
• Assist with dog handling, including feeding, walking, and monitoring activity levels throughout the day
• Implement basic dog training techniques to promote good manners and obedience during daycare hours
• Restrain and manage dogs safely using animal restraint techniques when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of play areas, grooming stations, and kennels to ensure a hygienic environment
• Observe and report any signs of health issues or behavioral concerns to veterinary staff or supervisors
• Provide pet sitting services for dogs that require extra attention or special care needs

Skills

• Experience with dog handling, training, or pet sitting that demonstrates confidence in managing various breeds and temperaments
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician experience is a plus for understanding animal health needs
• Familiarity with pet grooming techniques to assist in maintaining coat health and hygiene
• Strong animal handling skills combined with the ability to restrain animals safely and humanely
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs
• Background in animal care or kennel experience that highlights your commitment to animal welfare
