SPECIAL NOTES:
High School diploma or its equivalent is required .
Preferences:
- One (1) year or of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook in a professional environment .
- At least two (2) years of professional, full-time, clerical experience in records management, office management, public library, or administrative assistant experience.
- Ability to coordinate meetings and conferences.
- Professional Administrative certificates
The position will be filled at the annual salary of $37,050.00.
The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday in office.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
- Ability to collect, record and analyze data relating to records or operational procedures.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to prepare reports.
- Ability to direct the organization and maintenance of records.
- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable state statutes, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to plan, organize, and ensure proper completion of work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to coordinate meetings and conferences.
Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides support services for the bureau, including answering and routing telephone calls, answering questions from vendors and insurance companies routed to the ACD line, and making sure equipment such as copiers and/or printers are working properly and have toner.
- Orders, receives, and maintains the inventory of all supplies used by bureau personnel.
- Provides administrative support for bureau functions, meetings, conferences, and other activities.
- Maintains and updates contact lists and email distribution lists.
- Prepares, copies, scans, and distributes routine correspondence, handouts, reports, and other materials.
- Prepares travel expense vouchers for bureau employees.
- Conducts monthly SunPass reconciliation of transponder tracking log to the SunPass statement/invoice. Validating transponder utilization with travel authorization request approval. Monitoring SunPass account balance and initiating replenishment as appropriate.
- Performs special assignments and other duties as required.
