Job Summary:

At North Beach Rehab, a Skilled Nursing Facility, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As a key leader in our facility, the ADON will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and excellence in clinical practice. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement facility policies, procedures, and standards of care

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants

• Develop and maintain effective communication channels with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities to ensure regulatory requirements are met

• Assist with the development and implementation of education programs for nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize patient flow

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least 2 years as an ADON

• Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure

• Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
