Senior Vice President, Caribbean & Latin America

What will I be doing?
The Senior Vice President for the Caribbean & Latin America (CALA) directly oversees strategic initiatives, business performance, guest satisfaction, operational excellence and team member experience across a current, multi-branded, portfolio of 62, and growing, Luxury and Full-Service hotels and $1.2B in total revenue. In addition, this individual will be responsible for developing deep relationships with the franchise company in order to drive company strategy. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and President Americas this senior executive role will also be responsible for driving regional growth plans and ensuring alignment with corporate goals through cross-functional collaboration.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute regional strategies aligned with Hilton's global priorities.
- Set a clear vision and multi-year roadmap for operational excellence and growth.
- Partner with corporate and regional teams to roll out enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational strategy, influencing senior stakeholders and aligning ownership goals.
- Represent the region at major leadership forums and enterprise events, influencing strategic priorities and showcasing operational excellence.
Operational Excellence
- Lead multi-brand, multi-property operations across CALA, ensuring brand standards, service excellence, and operational enhancements through technology, sustainability, and best-in-class processes.
- Implement best practices and innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency, profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Drive transformation through digital enablement, process innovation, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Collaborate with regional functional leaders including Food & Beverage, Finance, Human Resources, Revenue Management, and other support teams to implement innovative solutions and best practices consistently across the portfolio.
- Proactively escalate operational challenges to corporate support teams for swift resolution.
- Ensure high standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction across all functions.
- Maintain constant upkeep of property conditions to deliver an elevated guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and brand requirements while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Drive creation and implementation of new operational standards and programs to elevate guest experience and brand consistency.
- Oversee operational readiness for new openings, conversions, and renovations, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
- Champion safety, sustainability, and environmental standards across all properties.
Owner Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners and investors.
- Communicate Hilton's strategic priorities, performance expectations, and ethical responsibilities clearly.
- Act as a strategic partner to ownership groups, providing insights on market trends, growth opportunities, and investment strategies.
Financial Leadership
- Maximize portfolio EBITDA, margins, and owner returns.
- Analyze financial performance, implement cost-control measures, drive top-line revenue growth, and achieve F&B profitability goals.
- Review forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and implement action plans.
- Ensure disciplined financial governance and performance accountability through robust KPIs and business reviews.
Talent Development
- Partner with HR to define and execute a talent strategy that builds leadership bench strength and future capabilities.
- Champion succession planning and leadership development programs to sustain high performance.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, wellness, purpose & growth by monitoring team member feedback and enhancing team member experiences.
- Drive professional growth and engagement through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate property-level leadership talent and inspire future operational leaders through targeted development programs.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Fifteen plus (15+) years of progressive hospitality leadership, with at least 5 years at senior executive levels.
- Proven success managing multi-brand, multi-property hotel operations in CALA with measurable growth and profitability.
- Expertise in guest experience, property operations, and P&L oversight.
- Strong executive presence i.e., experience to influence board members, investors, and global stakeholders.
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish); Portuguese a plus.
- Willing to travel extensively (50–70%).

- Luxury and resort portfolio experience.
- Experience in a corporate or matrix organization.
- Multi-property or complex operations background.
- Advanced degree (MS/MA/MBA).
