Nanny / Family Assistant Position
Start Date: September 1, 2026
Location: Winter Park, Florida
Compensation: $30–$40 per hour
Commitment: Full-time
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a high degree of flexibility
Position Overview
A family is seeking a full-time, long-term Nanny / Family Assistant to provide loving infant care and support the smooth running of their household. The child will be approximately 10 weeks old at the start of the position, and the role centers on attentive, developmentally appropriate newborn care alongside light family assistant responsibilities.
The family is based in Winter Park, Florida, where this is a live-out position for most of the year. From September through December, the family relocates to their home in Stevenson, Maryland, and the nanny travels with them and stays live-in for the duration (accommodation provided). Please note the start date falls at the beginning of the Maryland season, so the position begins with the live-in stay in Maryland. Hours are always guaranteed — the nanny is paid for the full 40 hours each week even when the family does not use all of them. When the family does not need childcare, hours shift toward family assistant duties and household projects. A family vehicle is provided for on-the-job driving, with parking available. The household has no pets, dietary restrictions, or food allergies.
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, 6 paid major holidays, annual discretionary bonus, healthcare stipend
