Superintendent - High-Rise/Exterior (Miami)
Superintendent – Exterior High-Rise Construction (Waterproofing & Envelope Systems)
Experienced Superintendent for a general contractor specializing in high-rise exterior scopes, including waterproofing, façade restoration, and building envelope systems. Responsible for leading field operations from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and coordination across all exterior trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations for high-rise exterior work (waterproofing, coatings, sealants, stucco, painting, façade systems, swing stage operations)
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and logistics in active or occupied buildings
- Enforce safety protocols, including fall protection and suspended access systems
- Manage project schedules, sequencing, and lookahead planning to maintain critical path
- Ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents, specifications, and local codes
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to resolve field issues proactively
- Conduct site meetings, maintain reports, and track progress, productivity, and costs
- Interface with clients, building management, and residents with professionalism
Qualifications:
- Proven experience supervising high-rise exterior or building envelope projects
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, façade restoration, and access equipment
- Ability to read drawings, manage schedules, and lead field teams effectively
- OSHA knowledge and commitment to jobsite safety
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
